So you want to have your family tree researched. Well done, you're on your first steps to discovering the past to invest in your future, the generations to come will be so glad you did.

What are you going to get if you decide to have your ancestors traced and order a family tree package?

Lets get the technical side of things out of the way.

A popular choice is the single line family tree. That is you, then your dad then his dad then his dad and so on traced back generation by generation to the early 1800’s, showing when they were born who they married what they did for a living etc. Of course it doesn't have to be your father, it could be your mother then her mother or father, you get the picture. Be warned though, if you order a single line family tree it won’t be long before you're asking questions about other branches.The good thing is you can research one line of your family tree at a time, each time you order a line we will revise your family tree so that it all fits in nicely together as one package.Or maybe you just cant wait and want 2,3,4, lines done at once! This is what we call the Multiple line Family tree. Take four grandparents and trace them all back one generation at a time through the maternal/ paternal line or a combination. Then of course there is the 8 great grandparents 16 great, great grandparents 32.........lets not go there just yet.

What ELSE are you going to get?

You will receive:

•A full colour Illustration printed on the best quality cotton paper.

•Copies of all birth and marriage certificates, census returns and parish records where applicable.

•A full report listing all sources.

•A ‘narrative' Family Tree listing your ancestors relationship to one-another.

•Vital dates, that is, birth and marriage.

All we need from you is any relevant information regarding each surname to be researched. We must have one or more of the following to begin researching. Full name, location and birth date and / or marriage date of one of your ancestors, starting with a grandparent would be ideal. If you have a full name and close “guesstimate” of location and/or date, this may suffice.

We will research your chosen lines back to the early 1800`s. This is a general guide as sometimes progress during research can come to a halt due to illegitimacy, immigration or emigration for example.In such cases you will only be charged for the work that has been carried out. Research is meticulously coordinated and evidence collected and cross checked at every step of the way to ensure there can be no doubt as to correct lineage.
