Introduction.
This report is based on family history research into the Smith and Jones ancestors of Walter Jones/ Smith. Research has been carried out by Family Traits Research Services in the period June 2004 - August 2004.
A pedigree chart is enclosed with this report which shows ancestors and descendants of Walter Smith/Jones. A kinship report is also included, this shows the relationship between Walter Jones/Smith and all persons named within this report. An ancestral family tree illustration has been produced for Walter Smith/Jones.
Information in this report comes from birth and marriage certificates and census returns as well as the parish registers of Slamannan and Cumbernauld, Scotland. Copies of the certificates and census returns as well as census transcriptions are attached at the back of this report. In addition some family information was provided by Mr. Brian Smith which provided the starting point for the research. The aim of the research was to trace the Smith and Jones lines.
